Standing barefoot in the wet grass, tears streaming down my face, I weep. âEnough, no more,â I exclaim.
The wind picks up, it whispers âhushhh⌠hushhh.â
Before I can object further, the gentle hum of the treesâ soothing melody fills my ears.
âWhat are they singing?â I wonder.
âSweet child, we are here, tell us your troubles.â
Without thinking, I blurt out. âThe world. Itâs so LOUD. I canât bear it.â
The wind settles to a soft, comforting stillness.
âTune in to me,â Mother whispers. âLet me be your solace. I will hold you, let me help.â
And just like that, as I breathed a sigh of relief, it all just stopped.
The noise.
The panic.
The rage.
The confusion.
Vanished.
âAh, thatâs better, isnât it,â Mother says with a gentle smile in her voice.
âMuch better,â I reply, as I soften.
What was wrong? I asked.
âNothing was wrong, sweet one. You just needed to switch to a different frequency. The one you were tuned into was disrupting your peace,â Mother explains.
âMy body, the Earth, always knows what you need. My essence is one of healing, tranquility, and renewal. I can offer you this gift of love whenever you need it. I am here.â
âThank you, Mother, I understand.â
Then all at once, the world looked more colorful, alive, and beautiful than it did before.
âDo not forget your purpose, dear one, your purpose to return home.â
Mother continues, âHome is not out there. It is here - amongst the trees, the rocks and the ocean. Here the flowers greet you and the bees know you by name.â
I smile as a bee buzzes in my ear.
âToday Great Spirit reminds you that all you seek is but a few steps away, beyond that threshold, beckoning you to return back.â
I continue to listen as I stare with curiosity at the clouds amused by their different shapes.
âAnd donât forgetâŚI love you, sweet child of the earth, I love you.â
And then with a rush of wind and lightness in my heart the voice returned back deep in the Earth, waiting.
With fresh eyes and a smile in my heart I have remembered a deep Truth today.
A Truth that I had once forgottenâŚ
A Truth that will echo long after my body has rejoined the EarthâŚ
A Truth that will continue to reveal itself to me each time I choose to stop and listenâŚ
"Pacha Mama," I say out loud,
âI am home. I am home. I am home."
"Thank you, for bringing me ⌠h o m e .â đśđ˛Â đ
